As the courageous nurses at St. Vincent Hospital enter their 12th week on strike for safer staffing for safer patient care, their for-profit employer, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, has ceased negotiations and has begun running radio ads to recruit nurses to try to permanently replace the 800 nurses to break this strike.
We urge all nurses to support the St. Vincent nurses by not crossing their righteous strike line to work at that hospital. Please share this message widely. The St. Vincent nurses’ fight for safe staffing is every nurse’s fight, and their eventual victory will be a victory for all nurses.
